FAQs

The KRUVE Sifter is super easy to clean. A quick rinse under the tap is all it takes!

First things first, with a properly calibrated grinder, there should be very little excess. That’s one of the benefits of the KRUVE Sifter – It can help you calibrate your grinder or evaluate whether you have the right grinder in your repertoire. For example, if you make a coffee every day for a week, then at the end of that week, you should only have about a tablespoon of excess.

Calibration aside, the ultimate task of the KRUVE Sifter is to remove those unwanted grinds, so you are still bound to have some excess, but don't throw out those grinds just yet! Boulders can be put back in your grinder and be re-ground and unwanted fines can be re-purposed in a variety of ways. For example, you can use them in baking, cooking, cleaning, or even gardening. The grinds are also biodegradable, so if need be, can go in the compost bin.

The KRUVE Sifter is made out of food-grade aluminum alloy that will withstand the test of time. The sieves use photo-etching technology, which allows us to produce every one exactly to spec - down to the micron. As a result, the KRUVE Sifter creates a never before standardized grind size to ensure you can duplicate that perfect cup and can share recipes with your fellow coffee lovers.
