What is Agitation?
Agitation (sometimes referred to as turbulence) is the process of mixing or shuffling coffee grounds while brewing.
Why should I do this?
When you agitate your coffee grounds, you ensure water passes through your coffee in a more uniform fashion, resulting in a better tasting coffee!

Nice accessory.

Perfect hand balance for me, easy to swirl on iced bevs, and easy to add a few design touches to crema or latte art.

I've got the melodrip glass stir stick, the size and shape is great, it is excellent for wet WDT, doesn't break the bottom of the Cafec Deep 25 or a Hario V60, rolls around the sides, and ensures there are no hydrophobic dry patches for the bloom phase. But, it is glass, great for thermal stability, doesn't suck out too much heat, easy to clean, but breaks easily (2 down so far - I lend them, people break them).
Hence, my interest in trying the metal Kruve. But the shape is just not as good, you dont need the shovel, it is more difficult to rotate and more likely to damage the filter apex. The metal also gets really hot, sucking the heat out of the bed.
I hate to say it, but a durable, BPA-free Eastman Tritan™ copolyester with the same smooth size and shape as the Melodrip would be ideal.

The Brew Stick feels really premium and well made when I use it to either stir my coffee grounds or to stir my espresso. It has a good design that allows the user to grip it firmly without having to fear slipping out of the hand during the stir. The colour design of it is also really pretty!

Well made and does what it says. Nice length to get into all my brewers

I used the original (V1) brew sticks everyday and love them. Just when you think a “simple” spoon couldn’t be improved, low and behold the Version 2 — better in every way, from the grips to the size, weight and finish.. this is end game.

I was using a short tea spoon to agitate my coffee. It was a difficult and delicate process as I had to be careful not to dip my fingertips into the hot water. The Kruve brew stick has solved my problem & is the ideal tool when agitating my coffee grounds.
