why this idea?

Like many individuals and organizations around the globe, our team has been affected by COVID-19. In our industry of specialty coffee, we have seen and heard the concerns of frontline workers (mostly baristas and shop owners). In our personal lives, we have family members who work in pharmacies and stores on the front line.

While we always encourage customers, patients, and workers alike to stay home and practice social distancing, we know this may not always be possible. So, we decided to create a kit that would help those that are required to venture out in public and ensure we are all safe during these trying times. 

Lastly, we wanted to create a solution that would be easily and rapidly scalable, so aside from delivering ready-made kits, we are also providing all the design files as open source (under creative commons license) for those that may want to build or print their own kits.
